When adding links to .pdf files or external links it is best to set to open in “new tab or window” so they don’t get lost and can just close the .pdf to return exactly where they were.  Also it is good to “warn” people what to expect and how to do things.

INSERT AN IMAGE

easiest to make page view full size (icon like blue tv on top row)

click mouse where you want to put photo

don’t worry if it does not go there you can drag it around

click on other icon that looks like tv but gray 4th from right

pop up window comes up

click on “browse” to find your image on your computer

NOTE YOU CAN SELECT AND ENTIRE FOLDER OF IMAGES

or “cntr” and click on each image to want and upload them all

Use “browser loader” instead of “flash  loader” if having problems

click on open

click on upload

click on show (right side) of image you want – click on size and alignment you want and then “Link To File”

 

For the rest of the images you uploade

click “from media gallery” at the top

find photo and click show next to it

click on right left center for location on page

click on size – I usually use medium

if it did not locate it self where you wanted it just click on it and drag it to where you do ( you can also cut/paste )

click on show (right side) of image you want – click on size and alignment you want and then “Link To File”

 

if you want to re-size it – click on image and you will see little boxes on each corner of the image – just click on one and drag image till you get the size you want

to reposition or edit

click on image and a little image will show up in the top left corner

click on this and you can change what you specified above

when done click on “insert in post” button

EDIT AN IMAGE

click on image and do same thing as above – last 5 lines

MAKE SURE YOU CLICK THE RIGHT “LINK TO” BUTTON (click to make full size)

TABLES

Tables are used if you want to make more columns on the page or put things side by side etc.

INSERT

click mouse where you want the table

bottom row icon that looks like a table with a pencil on it (next to format)

set up how ever you want

columns – as many as you want

rows – whatever

cell padding – we use 10

cell spacing ( blank space between columns or rows ) we usually use 0

alignment – usually center

border  0 unless you want lines around all columns and rows color under advanced tab

width usually 100% wide

height leave blank – unless you want a certain height

advance tab – play with it and see what you get

once you have a table – click inside the area you want to set up

their are 8 new icons that activate allowing you to set it up however

Note: at the bottom you can select to apply to all cells in a row, column, even entire table

TO REMOVE A LINK
click on the same are and icon – select and delete the link part and update
